SURF RIG, also known as Hi/Lo. 
Perch~ Striped Bass~ Rockfish~ Jacksmelt~ Kingfish
Cut baits, worms, shrimp.
Leader 12-18" with separation of 6-12" between hooks.
Hooks are tied via palomar knots to dropper loops. See Knots.
Sinker type,  weight and hook sizes are variable.

Sturgeon~ Flounder~ Halibut~ Lingcod~ Rockfish~ Striped Bass
Live baits, worms, shrimp.
Leader 18-24"
Hooks is tied via palomar or clinch type of knot.
