THE WEEKLY SHORELINER'S REPORT
http://www.songslinger.net/fishing.html

Summary:  A new minus tide cycle begins this week.   Fast water at night, slow water by day.  Fish accordingly.

STRIPED BASS:  Some smallish schools have entered the bay system and right now the best chance for a striper is on lures between Paradise and San Quentin Point.  Hair raisers and Rat-L-Traps are good.  If you want to soak bait, try Ashby Frontage Road on pile worms and cut anchovies.

STURGEON:  Nothing to report this week

PERCH:  Good perch fishing all around if you are willing to keep mobile until you find it. Situation remains as stable as last week.  Black and pile perch in the East Bay on pile worms--work the rocky banks where the water is 6 feet or better--striped perch near the Gate towers on pile worms and grass shrimp, and then redtail and barred perch on motor oil grubs on the beaches north and south.  If you can bear the wind you can catch fish.

MISCELLANEOUS SPECIES:  Salmon  and mackerel are in California City, mostly the latter.  Pretty slow for the other species.
